"Paying for a Daydream" Available Now

Today is the day.

Our debut album, Paying for a Daydream, is officially out and available everywhere you listen to music.

You can stream it now on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, and all major streaming platforms. If you'd like to own the album and support the band directly, you can also download it from our website:

https://goldenhourrock.com/store

This record is the result of countless late nights, rehearsals, songwriting sessions, and a shared belief that this music was worth chasing. What started as a daydream became something bigger, and we're incredibly grateful to everyone who has listened, encouraged us, and supported us along the way.

If you enjoy the album, there are a few simple things that make a huge difference for independent artists:

• Download or save the album
• Add songs to your playlists
• Share your favorite tracks with friends and family
• Follow Golden Hour on your favorite streaming platforms
• Tell someone about the music

Every stream, save, share, and recommendation helps more than you know.

Most importantly, this is only the beginning. We can't wait to see where these songs take us and to share what's next.

Thank you for being part of the journey.

— Michael, Jamie & Jessie

“Hotter at Midnight” Is Out Now — The First Chapter of Golden Hour Has Arrived

After months of writing, recording, planning, and counting down the days, we’re beyond excited to finally say it:

“Hotter at Midnight” — the debut single from Golden Hour — is officially out now.

You can stream and download the song today on all major music platforms, including:

  • Spotify
  • Apple Music
  • Amazon Music
  • YouTube Music

“Hotter at Midnight” is the first glimpse into our debut album, Paying for a Daydream — a record built from years of collaboration, late nights, old friendships, loud guitars, honest lyrics, and a shared love for rock and roll that still feels human.

The track blends gritty guitars, soaring melodies, and the push-and-pull energy of male and female lead vocals into something that feels equal parts classic and new. It’s loud, restless, emotional, and meant to be played with the windows down long after midnight.

For those just finding us, Golden Hour is made up of longtime collaborators Jamie, Jessie, and Michael — musicians who’ve spent years creating together in different bands, different rooms, and different seasons of life before finally bringing everything together under one name.

And this is only the beginning.

What Comes Next

The release of “Hotter at Midnight” kicks off a busy summer for the band.

Our second single, “The Only Road Home,” is already on the horizon, leading into the release of our full-length debut album, Paying for a Daydream, arriving this summer.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll also be sharing:

  • Behind-the-scenes studio footage
  • More music previews
  • Band member spotlights
  • Additional announcements surrounding the album release

This project has already meant more to us than we can put into words, and seeing people connect with the music this early has been incredible.

If you’ve streamed the song, shared it, messaged us, followed the band, or told a friend about it — thank you. Seriously.

We’re just getting started.
